If it’s peace and quiet you’re looking for at a very reasonable price then you could do worse than this semi-detached house located in the La Pedrera neighbourhood of Denía. You won’t find streets full of restaurants like you do in downtown Denía, but then again you only have to travel 1.5km into Denía town for that and then you get to beat a retreat away from the hustle and bustle.
What you do have is direct access to the foot of the Montgó mountain and nature reserve, that easily recognisable lump of rock visible from miles away. So if you happen to love hikes, caves, flora and fauna you don´t have far to travel, and the views from the top of the Montgó are genuinely spectacular. An added bonus of living in La Pedrera is that if you happen to fall off the mountain you don’t need to worry as the local hospital has the only brain trauma unit in the Valencian Community! Just remember to collect whatever bits were knocked loose in the fall so the doctor can stick them back in.
The house itself comes with a communal pool and a parking space, and if you were thinking of just using it as a getaway for a few weeks a year, then you would have no trouble letting this place out and making a healthy ROI.
Investment property, holiday home or retirement villa, this house works for all the above. Give us a shout to arrange a visit.
