So what to do? Well 2 choices. Pay more money or broaden your search. For example, here’s an apartment that meets all of your requirements, except that it isn’t in the city. It’s in the town of Foios, 5 metro stops outside the city. However, its closer to the beach than the city centre, and closer to the mountains, and this apartment is 200 metres from the metro, you’d be doing well to get that in the city. Door to door using public transport, you are 25 minutes from the city centre, and maybe 45 from the airport.

2 bedrooms, new windows, electrics and it has been opened up to maximise the light coming from 3 sides. Southern orientation, with sea and mountain views, a new, well-maintained building in a pleasant town with absolutely all the supermarkets, cafes, health and sports facilities you could need.

So that’s your choice. Magic up some more money or consider living a little outside of the city. Or take a ticket in the long line of people waiting for an apartment that doesn’t exist to appear. And every day you wait is a day less you can enjoy your new Valencia apartment and lifestyle.
