Red brick chimneys dot the landscape of Valencia, both in the city and in the surrounding land. Artifacts of a proud tradition of brick-making. You can even go on walking tours to see these. Aiming at a pretty specific market, I would have thought, but each to their own.

But here's one red brick chimney which might be worth a proper look, because there is a beautiful house attached. Its in the urbanisation of Monasterios, outside the town of Pucol. A few minutes from your choice of beaches, a few minutes in the other direction to amazing mountain scenery. Convenient to international schools (ridiculously so to the american school, just 3 minutes walking!).

The house is distributed over 4 floors, with an internal lift. There are 6 bedrooms, 3 of those en-suite, and the design of the building allows these bedrooms to have private terraces, as well as the larger terraces off the living areas.
