Definitely a property that is suitable for certain types of people and living but definitely not for others. If what you want is something spacious where over the years you can keep accumulating the detritus of everyday life then this is definitely not one for you.

If however you just want a basecamp for getting to the nearby beach and enjoying the sights and sounds of the Cabanyal, one of the hippest areas of Valencia while at the same time having just a little outside space to park your bike, sit outside and create a through breeze then this might be for you.

Around 50m2 in total with two bedrooms, bathroom, living room incorporating the kitchen and that rear terrace this is small, easily maintained and well located right next to one of the best restaurants in Valencia.

Does it have a tourist licence I hear you ask? Well despite being ground floor with an independent entrance unfortunately not and there is a current moratorium on new licences in the Cabanyal. Equally I wouldn't suggest just running it without a licence because someone on the third floor has one of those signs stating that 1 tourist = 1 fewer person in the neighbourhood so I reckon they might be a curtain twitcher.

Two small issues when I went to see it. 1) a couple of damp patches at the bottom of the walls in the back bedroom which is typical of the Cabanyal and 2) the place had been empty for six weeks and there were a few dead cockroaches around, also typical of a ground floor at times. If this doesn't bother you then the price may interest you.
