After Thursday's first ten tips for home staging your Spanish property here are the next ten tips that should tell you how to home stage your property in Spain. Learn from these mistakes and this time they are all my comments to the sellers. As you may be able to imagine none of the properties below got onto the Valencia Property site, apart from the one with the pot bellied pig and cats (It was just so cheap).

20 Home Staging Tips For Your Spanish Home (Part 1)
I thought it would be quite good to give some tips for sellers so they could actually prepare the house for your visit when you are looking for a property for sale in Spain. I have actually uttered these words to sellers at some stage in the dim and distant past or they have said them to me in all seriousness.
A Hectic Week and A Book
Another hectic week in Valencia Property Land. What happened was that lots of new houses were visited, lots of work was done and lots of preparation for a signing in a couple of days was completed. Oh and did I mention I wrote a book in three days!
Olocau Property For Sale Near Valencia
If you're looking to buy a property in Spain which is huge, has plenty of potential and there are some aspects of it that you may really like once you move although they look a bit gaudy at the moment then you should really be thinking about this house which is near to Olocau.
Spanish Cup Final In Valencia Next Week
In case you haven't noticed there are going to be four games between Real Madrid and Barcelona in the space of a couple of weeks in three competitions: The League, the Spanish Cup and the Champions League twice.
The Wow Factor in Spanish Property
Many people talk about the wow factor when they are thinking of buying a property in Spain, or anywhere else for that matter. What constitutes the wow factor though? I think you need a few examples. Firstly, it is views that count. I have attached a couple of photos of a property for sale in Gilet and a property for sale in Olocau. Both get the wow factor for the views and both have made the best use of them by incorporating lot of glass into the design so that your eyes are constantly drawn to the views. The house in Gilet sees the sun come up over the Mediterranean actually giving you a good reason to get up before dawn.
Valencia's Top Tourist Attractions
I did a slightly unscientific Facebook questionnaire about what are the top tourist attractions in Valencia. I initially put in seven options and allowed others to put their own in. So what according to my Facebook friends and followers of Valencia property are the top tourist attractions in Valencia?
Don't You Just Hate It When That Happens
Today I realised that a property I had a lot of interest in last year was not appearing on the site. So I took some steps. I placed it on the Valencia Property site here. I then sent it out using Posterous to various places such as Twitter and Facebook Within twenty minutes I had two calls interested in the property, that's good. One person wanted to fly out next week and see it very excited.
That Was A Very Busy Week
Last week I didn't post on here but I did post a lot on www.facebook.com/ValenciaProperty and on Twitter and other places where you might want to keep an eye out as that is where things go first. Meanwhile I was showing properties like the following to clients last week and having to deal with banks and valuations left, right and centre. Take a look and see what you think.
The Guardian's Special Report About Spain
When you are thinking of buying a house for sale in Spain I have always insisted that it is important to know what you are getting yourself in for as regards the country as well as the particular house or area you want to move to. This is why this site talks about much more than just property for sale in Spain and I suggest you follow our Facebook page, our Houses for sale in Spain news page and more in order to get to know much more about the country you are thinking of moving to.
More Attic Flats in Valencia For Sale
Because of the overwhelming demand for outside space in the city, attic flats in Valencia are becoming much more highly valued and also incidentally are totally holding their price as there are so few available. Therefore I thought that today I would simply embed a couple of videos of flats that are available. They are not traditional attic flats though as neither has its own outside space... yet.
Win A Copy of the Work in Spain Book By Looking at Twitter
Almost two years ago in June 2009 I wrote a post that was featured on This is Spain about Twitter users in Spain. It is interesting to see what has happened in the meantime to those featured back then. Many of the users from then now no longer use the service or have moved on into different accounts. Many continue using Twitter strongly, including the number one and two on the list below ;-).
Benidorm Property. Something to Have in a Portfolio?
With today's news that bookings are up 18% from the UK for holidays in Benidorm compared to last year the question I pose today is if it is a good idea to have property in Benidorm in a portfolio? Most people have a vision or opinion of Benidorm. From the New York style towerblocks, to the joy of the Terra Mítica theme park, to lager louts on stag dos, to "This is Spain" to any other number of stereotypes, nobody is really left untouched by opinions about Benidorm
What The Fallas Fiestas Mean To Valencia
The Fallas fiestas are becoming more well known worldwide as social media and people's own experiences are shared through images on Flickr, Facebook and Twitter. My first experiences of Fallas were in 1988 when I visited Valencia during the University holidays and back in those days of course none of this existed so I was surprised, no... I was blown away.
For The Love Of Outside Space. Attics in Valencia
There is a major difference between Spanish people who buy apartments and foreign buyers in general. The Spanish go for location and the foreigners go for light and outside space. If you find a flat in the city that has a great location, lots of light and outside space then you are suddenly competing with other buyers and should not expect price drops in the near future for them.
Living in a Community in Spain
I have been living in a community in Spain for 12 years now and I am still not an alcoholic. When you live in a flat in Spain you live in a community and when you live, as I do, in a set of terraced houses sharing a garden and pool then you also live in a community. If you buy a house in the Campo then you won't but you may still be popping into your local village to participate in the local fiestas.
Sometimes I Despair Of Spain
I have said this before and I will say it again, at times I despair of Spain. (I actually said I despair of bank and I despair of sellers but you know what I mean) This again was brought home to me this week because of a few things.
What Do You Want In A Valencia Property
Over the last few weeks I have been showing lots of Valencia Property to clients and getting a variety of reactions. Some people want a key ready property where no work is needed at all. Some want a place that needs a bit of work and some even want a place where you need to do everything. However this is all to be expected. Everyone has different requirements of course.
