Life has just got a lot easier in Valencia as the process of getting a NIE number for European Union Residents has been moved again. You now get your Spanish NIE Number in Valencia behind the railway station in Calle Bailen.

What does a Spanish Estate Agent do? Or rather what do I do as a Spanish real estate agent and property finder? Today I have to do some housekeeping for clients.

With the news that some flats in London at 1 Hyde Park are the most expensive real estate in the World at some 6000 Pounds per square foot (about 75000 Euros per square metre!!! Obscene) I thought I would ask the question, where is Valencia's equivalent of One Hyde Park?

I was up in Montroy yesterday looking at a property and was invited to look at another that is for sale too. Now I have to say that the property was gorgeous, a log cabin but one of the proper ones not a shed. Three bedrooms, previously a show house so everything looking really nice and beautifully presented (If I get the listing you will see it here soon)

I placed two properties on the Valencia Property site yesterday. These house are chalk and cheese in terms of houses for sale in Spain. An old favourite now reduced in price considerably in Alginet, a mansion of 8 bedrooms with an imposing frontage and views to die for compared with a townhouse for sale in Oliva at a quarter of the price.

Yesterday I was bored for about the first time in four years. I have been annoyed, frustrated, ecstatic, worried, hurt, delighted and a whole host of other emotions in that time but one thing I haven't been is bored. Last night I was bored.

For the longest time now I have been wanting to change the look of the Valencia Property website and hadn't got round to it for various reasons, cost, time, motivation, work you know? the normal excuses. Well since the summer I have been working with Steve Williams on a new look for the site and it is going to be presented next Wednesday hopefully for the start of December. It looks like this below.
