The Best of Valencia Property 2024

The Best of Valencia Property 2024

Every year we write more about Valencia and Property in Valencia than any other website in the World. Some of our articles are worth bookmarking for sure but as nobody bookmarks these days we put our posts onto a page to be more easily found. The 2024 edition is below, starting in January these have been our most useful posts this year as considered by our readers from around the World. The first four blog posts came from January and February. We updated our most popular post ever about taking the first step towards your move to Valencia and looked at the realities of finding a place in Valencia which is getting more and more difficult. However, it’s worth it as the improvement in your quality of life is huge. Nevertheless, there are things that annoy us here and we also talked about them.

In March and April we featured blogs heavily aimed at American clients as they became our number one client nationality last year and we became the number one realtor in Valencia for Americans. We also pointed out that once you get here Spain is different, remember that! And we can’t go without mentioning our aversion to rustic properties, it contnues to this day.

May and June as the weather warmed up considerably we answered the questions we regularly get, talked about the big boom in two parts and mentioned that if you are from outside the Schengen area then you are going to need a plan to come and live here.

The summer months of July and August are generally when we wind down but we continue to publish relevant articles for you and summer 2024 was no different. We saw THAT debate and told Americans to get out now, many listened to us and did. Every year we do a summer market report and 2024 again was no different and we also talked about our initial client meetings of which we did lots after THAT debate. We also took you through the Stepping Stone Route to living in Valencia.

After the official summer we went into the Indian summer of September and October as things stayed warm. We first talked about the big differences you find when living in Spain. Then we took a look at our 25th Anniversary party. One of our most popular posts told you how much you needed to have saved to be able to buy at each price point and finally we took a big step as an agency by refusing to deal with investors for Airbnb.

There were big issues to talk about in the last two months of the year as the flood that hit to the south of Valencia was horrible and the disaster that hit American democracy was even worse. However, on the bright side, we talked about how long it takes to buy a property in Spain for those escaping the Tangerine Menace and also told you in heavily ironic tones why living in Spain is terrible.
