When I was planning the Audiobook series there was one thing I wanted to get really clear and prepare people for: Spain is different but at the same time it is the same.

I thought it time to actually formally introduce what this site is about. To tell you how to navigate around the Houses for Sale in Spain website and what you can find here. So anyway here is a video that I made this morning on a beautiful day in Spain where I talk about navigating the "Houses for Sale in Spain" website, lifestyle in Spain, living in Spain, social media and obviously Houses in Spain.

I put all sorts of content on "Houses for Sale in Spain" but I would like to know how my readers/viewers/listeners want to consume it. So do you prefer video/podcasts/text or what?

Well the website has been building up now for six months since it started. Now it is time to get myself a sponsor, sell my soul of course.

Everywhere you go you can hear people talking about the recession and why it is a terrible thing. There is no doubt that this is a deep recession in Spain but I would like to point out a few good points that may come out of it, at least for individuals.

I mentioned in my blog post a couple of days ago about the investment in Sport in Spain and how it has paid off big time. Within that I talked about the White Elephant of High Speed Rail and how it has been developed so that now it is anything but a white elephant but much more of a beacon of technological and communications development or Spain

The latest podcast has finally arrived. The last one doesn't seem that long ago, at least for me, but it was in May. Anyway the latest podcast talks about banks in Spain and the lending criteria and my conspiracy theory.

The Spanish are good at sports. Unbelievably good in fact. This fact was brought home to me last night when they won the Eurobasket final easily against Serbia. But there is such a range, just think about it.

Once you have decided that you are coming to Spain and you have children you really need to think about the education they are going to receive. Just a quick disclaimer here, these are my thoughts and in no way should be taken as gospel as each child is unique.

This house in La Pobla De Vallbona is a prime example of what lifestyle in Spain should be like. For me this is what a house for sale in Spain should be too. You have a brilliant garden with a large pool but don't have to look after it, that is done for you, you live a great great community with friendly neighbours who live there all year round and you get to meet them round the pool or in the shade of the trees in the garden.

Yesterday I put up my twitter mosaic so you could admire all of those beautiful people who I follow. Now there are some people on there who I shouldn't be following because I started using Twitter a long time ago and used something called autofollow. One word, Don't. It allows spammers to send you rubbish all the time. Social media is now the best way to get up to date with relevant information about what you are interested in. If you are reading this you should be interested in Spain because you have an interest in coming here.

If you are looking to move to Spain you might need some help. Let's face it nobody knows everything but some people can help you out with great info more than others. Our unbiased information through our newsletter and ebook will give you a great start in your interest in moving to Spain.

When there is the possibility of defying authority in any way the Spanish are World Champions. Amazing considering that the country as a whole is totally conservative in so many ways thanks to the 36 years of Francoism where to speak out against authority was tantamount to getting yourself a life sentence in purgatory from the Catholic Church
