Once you have decided that you are coming to Spain and you have children you really need to think about the education they are going to receive. Just a quick disclaimer here, these are my thoughts and in no way should be taken as gospel as each child is unique.

This house in La Pobla De Vallbona is a prime example of what lifestyle in Spain should be like. For me this is what a house for sale in Spain should be too. You have a brilliant garden with a large pool but don't have to look after it, that is done for you, you live a great great community with friendly neighbours who live there all year round and you get to meet them round the pool or in the shade of the trees in the garden.

Yesterday I put up my twitter mosaic so you could admire all of those beautiful people who I follow. Now there are some people on there who I shouldn't be following because I started using Twitter a long time ago and used something called autofollow. One word, Don't. It allows spammers to send you rubbish all the time. Social media is now the best way to get up to date with relevant information about what you are interested in. If you are reading this you should be interested in Spain because you have an interest in coming here.

Amazing considering that the country as a whole is totally conservative in so many ways thanks to the 36 years of Francoism where to speak out against authority was tantamount to getting yourself a life sentence in purgatory from the Catholic Church

One of the annoying things about buying a property in Valencia and Spain is getting a NIE number. It used to be that you could buy a property simply with a passport number but now you need a NIE number
