The Madrid Confessions - A Review

Ben Curtis has been building up a nice business over the last few years with a couple of websites, notesfromspain.com and notesinspanish.com. Now he has released a great new audiobook and here is my review.

Now if you want a really good insight into how Spanish life works whether you are a newbie here or thinking of coming over or even if you just want to confirm your own suspicions after many years then this is a must listen. Ben's engaging style and personality shine through the reading and you can be sure that it will be two and a half hours that enlighten you as to what it is like living life in Spain in the city. No "A Year in Provence" much more useful and gritty. Listen out for the anecdotes about the neighbour opposite and the industrial process of having a child in Spain on the National Health service.
