There comes a time of the year when it is the right time to venture into the pool. This first excursion is always fraught with apprehension because your body will not be used to the temperature in the water and the pool will not have heated itself to the required levels to avoid the initial shock at least. However, it is a must do because when living in Spain, if you have a pool then you must use it, why else would you have it?
Here is the video and the family dip will come later. (I was surprised by the temperature of the water of course, warm!)
Now my property has a communal pool and garden meaning that I don't have to clean it and it is always ready to use, even in the depths of winter if you are so inclined. A few years back I might have been but not any more. Today is the 27th of May and after spending the morning on my balcony hearing the splashes of those using the pool, the temptation became too much. So I thought first a video announcement to make me accountable and then a dip when the family come home.
