If you’re looking to buy a property in Spain which is huge, has plenty of potential and there are some aspects of it that you may really like once you move although they look a bit gaudy at the moment then you should really be thinking about this house which is near to Olocau.
Olocau is a place that is about half an hour away from Valencia and about 20-25 minutes away from the airport. It is on the edge of the Sierra Calderona national park and the village itself is a little place of some 800 people which nestles into the foothills of the Sierra. The village has the usual things, butcher, baker and candlestick maker, although it may not have the candlestick maker. It has a park children’s playground and good sized sports centre.
I have talked often in the past about how I really like Olocau. It has got great access to cycling routes, cycling is one of the big sports in the local area, and the house itself is on an estate called Pla de Marco. Pal de Marco is an estate of some 200 houses about 1.5 km away from the town itself. It lies between the towns of Lliria, Olocau and Marines.
This house is huge with about 360 m² of the main house with a terrace going right around the outside and there is a plot of 1800 m which includes a tennis court, a swimming pool and an orchard as well as a “paellero” or barbecue area.
The rockery around the pool might not be to your liking but with a bit of green, some plants etcetera it could look actually quite good. At the moment there’s too much concrete.
The estate itself has tarmac right up to the door and lies 500m away from the main road. Come and have a look at this property because it is a really good price, €250,000 is the asking price and maybe there will be some movement for the owners there on price. If you like it ask for all of the pictures, I have a lot, and see what you think then come and visit.
