Do You Need More Of Our 100 Reasons To Live In Spain?

As you are maybe aware we have been running a series on our Youtube channel called 100 Reasons to Live in Spain. Some are more obvious, some are a bit obscure and some are a bit left field. I have just put up the latest two on the channel after a break of more than a month because frankly we have just been too busy with the number of visiting clients and properties we have coming onto the site. In this case you can see them embedded in this post. The first is a sort of left field one joining the "Taking over the country" talked about in video 3. We talk about conversation in Spain and why it doesn't always gravitate towards the weather. Next for number 27 we have one of the many surprises that come up when people visit Spain, especially for those who come from the other side of the Atlantic. What is it? Well, it may come as a surprise that people working in shops, offices and most especially waiters in bars and restaurants couldn't give a monkey's whether you have a nice day (and in the case of civil servants they actually take pleasure in making sure you don't). It's sort of refreshing to notice that there is no false bonhomie, no script that the boss has forced them to recite and no attempt to make you feel comfortable. Don't worry though if you want to hear the call of "Do you want fries with that?" and the vapid and empty wishing of you to "Have a great day", there is always McDonalds.
