So… which one would you buy?
The impossible question, the question we get asked all the time at Valencia Property is the question we cannot answer. We would love to be able to answer it but there is so much hanging on this answer and without knowing all of the information that you have then we cannot answer it for you.
When you visit Valencia looking for a property you come with your own requirements. We always ask you for a wishlist when we communicate with you before coming over to give us a chance of drilling down into showing properties that are much more likely to satisfy your requirements. But we cannot make your decision for you and that is why the question of which one would you buy is so difficult to answer.
If we take the question as which one is the best value for money then the answer is relatively simple, the more square metres you get for the lowest price would always seem to be the best deal. However, a view of a lovely valley or mountains will always win over a property with no view even if the one with no view is bigger. Other options such as light, modernity, interior design, personal taste and more can make a difference and our personal tastes may not tally with yours.
However the biggest hinderance to us giving a “correct” answer that matches your thinking is the fact that we are not you. Our family circumstances are different, our family sizes are different, we are at a different stage of life, we require different things from life, you might not need an office but maybe we do, you don’t need a large kitchen because you don’t cook much perhaps and a litany of other considerations.
Now we can tell you what we prefer due to our personal circumstances. We can tell you the look that we like out of the properties you see and we can make a lot of suggestions, take into account what others have bought and how they use their property and so much more but answering the question “Which one would you buy?” isn’t easy because we come at it from a different perspective of course.
Let’s give some examples. Which would you buy? Here are some images of two properties in each case roughly a similar price and one has been sold and the other hasn’t. Can you guess which one sold?
Now of course there is an answer to each of the above but your obvious reaction would be “I don’t have enough information to answer that, just a couple of pictures and prices.” That’s true and now you understand why answering the question “Which one would you buy?” is so difficult to answer. We don’t have the full picture and all the information that you are using to make your decision.
We can help you make the decision of course, pointing out the benefits of each for your particular situation but in the end your gut feeling will win out because your personal reasons for buying will make the property that is right for you more obvious. So by all means ask us the question, but don’t expect us to tell you which to buy. The truth is, you already know.
