Covid19 is a pain in the butt. There I’ve said it. There are more restrictions in place in Valencia right now but as far as we understand it we can still show properties at least as I write this. We are being ultra careful with the way we show properties: Social Distancing, hand sanitizer, multiple cars, windows open etc… where possible but the process of buying continues to work.
We have lots of clients on the ground in and around Valencia at the moment who are looking for something that suits them and almost everyone is taking into account lockdowns and what their potential property should look like.
Some of the features most in demand are as follows

- The ability to keep the house or apartment well ventilated. Interior flats are out of fashion at the moment.

- Fast internet connections for work, study and entertainment.
- Excellent Gardens and Pools
- Something that gives the buyer the Golden Visa for many non EU clients.
Therefore let’s take a look at some properties in every price range that can act as excellent lockdown and even lifestyle potential. Today we will look at properties from 49k up to 300k and in a second blog later this week we can look at some amazing properties from 300k up.

A semi detached house, community pool, parking space and own small garden walking distance to a lovely town all for under 100k. Bring it on. This semi detached house in Chulilla for 93k offers a lot for your money. Furnished and ready to move in. What more could you ask for?
Under 150k In The City
If you want to be near to the beach for your daily walks there can be no better place than the Cabanyal where you have everything to hand for getting some fresh air. This fourth floor apartment has two small balcony terraces off the main bedroom and living room but also offers a large roof terrace you can use directly above. Outside the City
If you are looking for something more rural but still excellently connected then this property outside Villamarchante could work well. You even have a second house here in case of needing to self isolate or having family or friends staying over (When you can) Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, huge living room in the main house and covered and open terraces as well as a good sized plot. This property ticks a lot of those boxes for many people’s requirements and all at a great price.
Under 200k in the City
500m away from the Turia riverbed park this property in La Zaidia currently has too much furniture. However what it does have is a huge terrace for you to enjoy that outside space when the weather is good and let’s face it, the weather is usually good. A combination of open and covered terrace for when it gets hot too.
In a Town A Very Special Property
La Font is a small town just ten minutes from Oliva and Gandia. It has everything you could want for everyday living without compromising on anything. This duplex apartment is fantastic. It offers terraces, a jacuzzi, your own bar for when the ones you would normally visit are closed and it has been extensively modernised. Or a Villa Under 200k
An excellent property in Naquera which looks much better inside than it does from outside but is surrounded by trees on a really nice estate. The photos don’t do this place justice so either make a visit or ask us for a virtual tour or facetime call.

It gives you a cosy warmth from the fireplace but never leaving the kids too far away to get into trouble!
Under 300k in the City.
The only thing that this place lacks is a good sized terrace. But being right by Valencia’s Marina as it is means you are not far away from excellent outside space to take in the sea air. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a huge living room, this place is excellent for anyone wanting to move in straight away. (On the other hand the apartment directly above is also for sale for around 100k less and has a decent sized terrace but requires a full modernisation and some serious knocking down of walls to make the spaces more usable).
And Outside the City. What About a Large Equestrian Centre?
If you love horses, lots of land, plenty of potential and a really cozy house only requiring minimal work, the windows need replacing, then this equestrian centre between Pedralba and Villamarchante is pretty special. The owner is giving up training horses due to retirement and wants this place to go to a good owner, whether they intend to use it for horses or not. Plenty of outbuildings that could be converted into extra accommodation here too so let your imagination run wild. 220k buys you a lot in this case and the owner says you might even get it for less if she likes you.
