Gilet is a small town to the north west of Valencia which lies on the railway line to Valencia and has a mixture of large country properties for sale and flats in the centre.
Gilet lies just twenty minutes from the city and the main estates overlook the town itself on the hillside. There are just a couple of thousand inhabitants but in the summer months that grows as people get out to their houses in the orange groves.
