My First Ever Live Blog: Urbe at The Valencia Feria

I thought I would give you a feeling of a quiet Sunday morning here in Valencia. I have come along to the Urbe exhibition in the Feria to see what offers are on this morning. The facts are rather shocking. Urbe Desarrollo is the big real estate fair for the Mediterranean and it happens in November. I have blogged from there for the last three years about how it is going to the dogs. Well this is an offshoot of that. So here I am looking at 12 stands! Yes just 12. The vast majority are banks trying to offload their excess stock that they have repossessed. Some decent offers and some shockers. I will keep you up to date with photos and news as we move through the morning. First Update. I have just visited two stands. The first was Caja Madrid's stand which you will see on the picture below later. They didn't have any rep of the bank there to talk with me yet despite the fact the expo is open. The second was Santander. They "don't do collaborations". In other words unless you actually walk into their office and happen to get somebody free who knows something about the repo arm you will never get any information. Good start. Latest Update. I am back home! I gave up! The lack of organisation and information was astounding. And to top it all off I couldn't even get a decaf coffee for when I was making the video above. How on Earth the banks expect to offload their excess stock is beyond me if they are not willing to reach out and help? As for the arrogance of the bloke from Santander it was beyond belief.
