It’s time to extrapolate a little and take a look at the areas that are performing best on our website. In other words which pages are being visited the most on Valencia Property by people searching for property in the area? Clear trends are emerging that may help you to also identify areas that maybe you should be looking at too when searching for your ideal Valencia Property.
People are waking up to the fact that Valencia is one of two absolutely excellent destinations in Spain that offers an excellent first class city experience and great value for money while also having a superb beach and the Mediterranean on your doorstep (The other being Malaga which you can read more about on our Facebook page for the Spanish Property Magazine here). Are you surprised I don’t include Barcelona? It’s a simple conclusion as Barcelona is just overrun by tourists these days and is more of a Gaudi theme park rather than a living city experience (My opinion after various visits) and it is extremely expensive, over double the price per square metre than either Valencia or Malaga.
As we have written about before on this site the Valencia beach area of Cabanyal, Malvarrosa and Patacona (Alboraya really but still Valencia) offer you a little bit of everything you could want and the prices are almost obscenely low.
A city of almost 1 million people on the Mediterranean coast that is almost unknown to many in the rest of Europe apart from it having a football team or two that appear on Sky Sports La Liga and being the origin of Valencia oranges, Valencia is known to those in the know as the Hidden Jewel of The Mediterranean.
Everything you could want you can find, from culture (We even have two opera houses now) to impressive gastronomy, a friendly population and a severe and welcome lack of restrictions on what you want to do with your life and time and when it is also considered to be one of the safest places in Europe to live, with an enviable climate and superb architecture and city parks. What’s not to like?
We have been busy promoting Naquera recently because we believe it is an absolutely beautiful place to live and many of the houses around the town have drop dead gorgeous views. This promotion has meant that more visits are being made to Naquera page than any other of the small towns and villages around Valencia. You can also see some of the reasons we like Naquera here.
The cutest small village in the foothills of the Sierra Calderona, Olocau offers a lot of bang for your buck and has some of the best trekking and mountain biking areas to be found in the vicinity of Valencia. We picked up this property in Olocau last week, great value, really cute and it has already created a lot of interest on the Olocau page.
