The main part of the summer is over, that bit where we have to put up with the kids every day. It will still be hot for the next couple of months here in Valencia and after that it will be lovely and warm still during the winter if previous experience is anything to go by. September traditionally is a very busy month in real estate in Valencia as people who have enjoyed their summer holidays decide they want something a bit more permanent and decide to buy a holiday bolthole or a place to live and upgrade their lifestyle quotient.
Therefore, at this time of year it is only right that we should take a look at some of the best properties available both in and out of the city of Valencia and see what you can get for your money. We thought we would give you the best five properties but then realised that everyone is not looking for the same thing so we put together some apartments, penthouses, villas and a couple of huge mansions that may interest different people and budgets. You may be very surprised at the value you can get here still. These are designer impressions rather than photos of the finished article because this is not finished yet. A rather wonderful property which the photos do not do justice to. Two separate houses in one if you like to house guests, relatives or tenants or just a huge house for your extended family, conferences or retreats. Sometimes simple is the best and this simple three bedroom, two bathroom villa in Chiva is priced sensibly with the owner willing to look at offers too. Sold fully furnished this could be your perfect holiday bolthole or place to rent out. “Just a few kilometres from shops, facilities and more with tarmacced road, mains electric and water and furnished and ready to move into.“
A rather fantastic villa in La Eliana, one of the most popular suburban towns around Valencia. What’s the takeaway from this one? “It certainly ticks a lot of boxes and if you want convenience, luxury, peace, quiet and a great location, this is the one for you“
We really love this place and that is a hell of a lot of house for under 200k. However the photos don’t really do it justice so it’s better visited in person. Make sure you are that person. What’s the takeaway? “This is a perfect choice for those who want to enjoy the luxury of a large house with loads of space, the tranquility of nature in a daily basis and still be able to reach the urban life just a short ride away“
Outside space is cool in Valencia, it’s also rare. Outside space by the beach is rarer still and especially at an affordable and attractive price. This apartment not only has that but the inside isn’t bad either. Our takeaway here is “here we have Beach, Leisure, Sports and Sunshine all within very easy reach“
Ruzafa is the Bohemian hub of Valencia, a melting pot of bars, restaurants and fancy vintage shops densely packed around a rather wonderful food market. If you want your property to be as tasteful and well presented as Ruzafa itself then this one is for you. As the description says “The only thing this apartment is missing is an elevator but 3 flights are easy when you walk up to something this pretty, and, like most buildings, will be getting an elevator sooner or later.”
Remember that we said that outside space was at a premium, well outside space in the city centre is even more valued and when you have two terraces then you are really onto something. This place near the station offers a lot for your money and blue skies included. “close to the Central Park Project, and a five minute walk to the town hall square“
Sometimes something just fits. This rather stunning penthouse on Avenida del Puerto close to both the beaches, Marina, shopping centres and city centre ticks a lot of boxes for a lot of people. “Set on Avenida del Puerto just a ten minute walk from the City of Arts and Sciences, the Marina and the Riverbed park with a metro station just a couple of minutes away with direct access to the airport too, this is a fantastic opportunity for somebody, will it be you?“
This one has just been reduced for quick sale but will only appears or sale truly on the 1st September. Be quick. Ryanair at the ready. “With the recent restoration and inauguration of the Bomba Gens Modern Art Museum and relocation of Valencian Chef Ricard Camarena’s Michelin Star Restaurant this area is quickly gaining popularity with Foreign Investors and locals alike.”
We know we keep returning to Naquera and that’s because it offers superb value and is just a lovely place. Large apartment with pool for just 60k anyone? “This 2nd floor apartment on a quiet leafy lane is really good value, 115m2 consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, good sized living areas and well equipped kitchen, the rear terrace provides views to the pretty village and Sierra Calderona beyond and it also has a community pool“
And again in Naquera we find it difficult to believe this one is still available. It might be the doors. However if you want a huge house for your money with great views and a whole lot more this is the one for you. “Some renovation is required but for this price and with this potential it could be an absolute palace set on one of the best urbanizations in the Sierra Calderona, just 20 minutes to Valencia and the coast“
And finally a rather wonderful three floor townhouse in La Pobla de Vallbona with five bedrooms, and a shared pool and gardens for a ridiculously good price of just 150k.
